St Michael's Middle School

School Council

The School Council meets on a regular basis, at least monthly. The purpose of these meetings is for all pupils to have a voice within the school about issues they wish to raise. These meetings discuss many different subjects.

Each Tutor Group has a Pupil Representative whose job it is to attend these meetings and to feedback agreed action, and/or speak to their classes about issues raised.

Attached are copies of the Minutes of the meetings, which are distributed to pupils so that they are available for their class's information.

Each copy of the Minutes refers to the UNICEF Convention for the Rights' of Children. Where a number is indicated eg (8, 12) this refers directly to the relevant Article of the Convention.
